The Heart Behind On Target Learning
Tiffany Sallee, founder of On Target Learning, brings 13 years of teaching experience to her work with students. She spent 10 years teaching K–5 in public schools, five of those years in special education, where she discovered her passion for helping children with reading disabilities succeed. After tutoring in the evenings after work and on the weekends for three years, Tiffany left the classroom in 2023 to grow On Target Learning full time. As an educator with a wide range of experiences, she understands that every child learns differently and believes in creating personalized, encouraging instruction that builds both skills and confidence. Through On Target Learning, Tiffany continues her mission to help students reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning. Tiffany offers personalized in-person tutoring in Spring Hill, Kansas, as well as virtual tutoring, working both one-on-one and in small groups with homeschool families.

Jaime Bulva
In Person Reading and Math Tutor Located in Gardner, KS
My name is Jaime, and I am a certified educator with both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Baker University. I bring 6 years of classroom teaching experience in grades 3–5, where I supported students in building strong academic foundations and confidence in their learning.
I am currently working with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City as the Before and After School Coordinator for the Spring Hill School District, continuing my passion for supporting students outside of the traditional classroom.
Outside of education, I am married, a mom to a 2-year-old son, and a dog mom to 2 labs.
I understand the importance of balance, encouragement, and consistency, and I strive to create a positive and supportive tutoring environment for every student.
Emily Nelson
In Person Reading and Math Tutor Located in Basehor, KS
Emily has been passionate about helping students become confident readers since beginning her teaching career in 2008. She has taught both music and reading intervention, where her love for teaching reading first began, and now serves as a special education teacher focusing on reading and math support. Emily designs individualized lessons to meet each child’s unique needs and loves watching her students grow in both skill and confidence. She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham based Sonday System and UFLI Foundations, two multisensory phonics programs.

Kate Contreras
Virtual Reading and Math Tutor
Kate is a passionate educator with years of experience teaching preschool and elementary students. She currently teaches four-year-old preschool at Resurrection United Methodist Church in Leawood, KS, and loves helping young learners build strong foundations in reading and math. Her experience supporting her own child with a learning disability has deepened her understanding of diverse learning needs and fueled her commitment to finding strategies that help every student thrive. Kate also brings 17 years of coaching experience from a high-level gymnastics center in Huntington Beach, CA, where she developed a love for motivating and guiding children toward success.
Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education | Minor in Spanish | Experienced with preschool, third, and fourth grades | Former gymnastics coach for 17 years.
When she’s not teaching, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, creating for her YouTube channel and podcast, and continuing her own love of learning.
